On 28 March 2023, one hundred years (1923 - 2023) will pass from the elevation to the rank of independent Armed Forces of the Air Force, which took place with Royal Decree of 28 March 1923, n.645.
For the occasion, the Air Force General Staff has launched two competition notices for the conception and creation of an original and unpublished graphic-artistic proposal, a logo and a character or other (animal, aircraft, fantasy ) that officially represent the anniversary of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Blue Army. The competition is open to all Italian and European Union citizens. Participation in the competition is also allowed individually.
Each competitor can submit only one project. Each participant must be 18 years of age at the time of submitting the project to the competition notice. Students who have not reached the age of majority who attend Artistic High School, Institutes of Art, Graphics, Visual and Communication Arts (public or private) can also participate. In this case, participation with the project form must also include a teacher as coordinator.
The objective of the competition is represented by the identification of a logo and a character or other that distinguishes and identifies the Air Force in a distinctive way on the occasion of the celebration. This symbol must have a strong communicative capacity and be easy to understand, original, innovative and evocative of the history of the Armed Force and its 100 years.
The application form, the requested documentation and the logo project must be sent, no later than midnight on April 24, 00.
