FPA: INPS restarts from young people for a digital and user-centric public administration

Investing in the new generations in the PA reorganization process with a view to efficiency and quality, in step with digital evolution. In the wake of this vision, INPS concluded - at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome - the second meeting at the Forum PA dedicated to the binomial "Work&Welfare".

During the event - centered on the theme "Youth and the future" - Giuseppe Conte, central director of INPS Human Resources, Antonio Pone, central director of INPS Revenue, Beatrice Lomaglio, vice president of the Italian Association of Trainers and Antonio Naddeo, president of Aran, met.

The common thread was the strategic role of the training of the new generations and the positive effects in terms of value for the Institute: "In a perspective of change management it is necessary to transfer transversal skills to young people - said Giuseppe Conte -, so as to develop planning of digital services oriented towards the efficiency of administrative action. Furthermore, through training, we aim to instill awareness of their role at the service of the community. In the previous two years – continued Conte – we financed 500 masters to broaden the knowledge of managers and, at the same time, generate a value capable of satisfying the renewed expectations of users”.

Antonio Pone highlighted the opportunities looming along the new horizons of the PA: "If on the one hand 15 years of blockage of turnover have slowed down generational turnover, on the other hand this could represent a career opportunity for young people, because within a few years spaces previously occupied by seniors will be freed up. Another positive aspect is the change of vision that young new recruits have of the PA - he commented - a sense of purpose has been created in them, a perception that their work is capable of generating collective well-being ”.

The day was also attended by Vincenzo Caridi, director general of the Institute, who focused on the so-called e-services: "INPS was among the very first institutions to make its services available directly on the National Digital Data Platform (PDND), contributing to the design and testing of the first prototypes of the new infrastructure.” – stated Caridi – “At the moment the Institute has published 17 'eServices' on the PDND, including the consultation of the Isee databases”.

Today, INPS will conclude its presence in the three-day Forum by participating in the working table of the CTOs (Chief Technology Officers) for the "Cloud Transformation Construction Site" with the central director of the Information Technology and Innovation Department - Massimiliano D'angelo - and at the round table on "Skills, organizational models and technological platforms for the future of work in the PA", during which the manager of the Agile Enablement & Delivery Area Emanuele Colini will speak to discuss the new organizational models and technological platforms that trace the perimeter of the reorganization of the PA.
