Issue Syria, France and Germany to the US: "No way"

The Isis perched around Baghuz is about to capitulate and the US, once the dirty work is over, will leave Syria. The Washington Post, which cites US sources and other countries involved in the area, highlights the Franco-British position towards Donald Trump. British Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt had already stressed: "There is no prospect for our military forces to replace American ones in Syria". His French colleague JeanYves Le Drian also echoed him: "We will not fill the void left by US troops at the Munich security conference, he had spoken of a "mystery" regarding Washington's decision, wondering: "How can one manifest such firmness with respect to Iran and at the same time abandon the north- east of Syria, when will such a decision only increase Tehran's influence in the area? ".

Allied concerns center on the fact that so far the United States has failed to conclude an agreement with Turkey, in defense of Kurdish militiamen from attacks by Erdogan's men.

The Franco-German alarm came from Trump's explicit request to form a monitoring force to patrol the critical area, a sort of "safe zone", about thirty kilometers wide on the Syrian side of the border and to separate the Turks from the Kurdish-Syrians.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, a drone sent by the French would have destroyed the house in Baghuz where Fabien Clain, 41, a French jihadist, leading ISIS executive, was staying. A sort of spokesperson for the terrorist association: "Clain himself had claimed responsibility for the attacks of 13 November 2015 in Paris on behalf of ISIS".
