Donald Trump: if the agreement with North Korea is made, "it will be good for the world"

Donald Trump, with a message posted on Twitter wrote that "The agreement with North Korea is in full phase of realization and will be, if completed, a very good agreement for the whole world, to be determined time and place" for the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in which the American president agreed to attend.

The message was published a few hours after Sarah Huckabee, White House spokeswoman, told reporters that the meeting would not take place "without concrete actions that match the promises that were made by North Korea".

In the meantime, however, the media in North Korea continue to ignore the news of leader Kim Jong-Un's request for a summit with Donald Trump and indeed confirm the traditional war rhetoric, threatening a "war" with the US.

In Rodong Sinmun, the main official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea, there was an article attacking the latest sanctions package launched by the US administration and assuring that North Korea will not give in to pressure from Washington.

"We will not let Americans decide what is the difference between good and evil according to the will of its leader, and trample on truth and justice," reads the editorial, which states that the latest sanctions announced by the US on March 7 against the regime for the use of chemical weapons to kill Kim Jong-Nam, Kim Jong-un's half-brother, are a "very dangerous" measure and "can cause a war".

"Pyongyang will not bow down to the military power of sanctions" of Washington.

Until now, no North Korean news service has broken the news of South Korea's announcement that Kim has proposed a denuclearization summit to Trump, which the US president has accepted.
