(by Mauro Nicastri - President of Aidr) “GIOVANI2030 is an ambitious and far-sighted project that lays the foundations for an active participation and direct involvement of the digital native generations by the institutions. Thus Mauro Nicastri - President of Aidr. "Our association, which has been involved for years in the process of raising awareness of digital culture in Italy, today welcomes with great enthusiasm the birth of the platform promoted by the Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service and aimed at girls and boys between 14 and 35 years. The GIOVANI200 portal, which will be presented in live streaming tomorrow evening by Minister Vincenzo Spadafora - continues Nicastri - will constitute an important reference point for the new generations, offering a whole range of information on: volunteering, training, education, culture and sport.

It will also be a digital compass to bring young people closer to a range of innovative services offered by the State, primarily the National Youth Card. The added value of the project certainly lies in the creation of a participatory model. The GIOVANI2030 digital home was designed to make our children the direct protagonists of their future, through the sharing of ideas and projects. We hope - concludes Nicastri - that this platform of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service, will be a harbinger of proposals aimed at making the world to come a better place for everyone, as well as in the spirit of Agenda 2030, reference date for the UN's objectives to make the planet a fairer, fairer, cleaner place.

GIOVANI2030 is already on-line in preview on www.giovani2030.it.
