Thus the Minister Teresa Bellanova shortly after the approval of the Dl August and of the measure destined to the Italian restaurant called Bonus Supply Chain for catering, value 600 million.
"Faced with the problematic data and the alarm that even in the last few hours the catering sector has wanted to confirm, with the risk of halving the companies and the loss of thousands of jobs, the approved measure guarantees immediacy and effectiveness, built specifically for guaranteeing in a simple way help to the catering and the Italian agri-food chain, starting from DOP and IGP products. The non-repayable resources guarantee the immediate possibility for restaurateurs to purchase products from agricultural, agri-food, fishing and aquaculture companies, especially in the segments of excellence most affected by the crisis. In this way we give oxygen to the internal market and fight food waste. With a very simple mechanism: adequate advance payment at the time of the application with presentation of the documents certifying the purchases made, and still not paid by the restaurateurs, balance on presentation of what is necessary to certify the purchase through traceable payment methods. Transparency and safety are our beacons in spending public resources ”.
