Seaside resorts: Hundred, commitment continues, reform path will pass through DPCM

“Our commitment to the protection and defense of seaside resorts continues. Yesterday I met an important representative of the category, summoned to the Ministry to take stock of the progress of the concession reform. It was a really constructive comparison in which I illustrated the important result achieved with the Stability Law, with which we ordered the extension of fifteen years for the expiry of the maritime state concessions for tourist-recreational use. The overall reform process of the sector will now pass through the issuing of a DPCM.

These are just a few but fundamental elements for securing the sector, whose economic importance is central. The fact that the European Union, at the moment, has not started any infringement procedure, confirms the validity of the proposals contained in the Stability Law, therefore we proceed in the direction identified to protect the category of bathing establishments. During yesterday's meeting at Mipaaft, I reiterated my invitation to work in unison, joining forces and avoiding divisions that do nothing but create damage for the sector ". This is what the Minister of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies, Gian Marco Centinaio, declares.
