Minister Bianchi, who has been at work for some time to return to attendance

“1,680 billion invested in safety. Make every effort to continue the vaccination campaign "

"The Ministry has been working for some time to return in September in presence and safety". This was declared by the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi.

“It is a goal that the government has pursued since its inauguration. Already in recent months, when we faced the second pandemic wave, we still wanted the girls and boys of the primary school to be able to go to school in the presence. And we have minimized the use of distance learning for all others - underlines Minister Bianchi. The commitment in this direction is also testified by the resources allocated in the recent government measures: 1,680 billion in total for the return to safety in September ”.

“At the same time, the vaccination campaign continues, with priority given to school staff. It is important that every effort is made to achieve the highest possible coverage, in order to ensure greater safety for everyone upon return. Vaccination is an act of collective responsibility ”, concludes the Minister.

In detail, with the first Support Decree 150 million euros were assigned to schools to ensure that teaching is carried out safely, and another 150 million for the enhancement of skills and the recovery of sociability. With the Support Decree bis, state institutions will be able to count on 350 million to guarantee safety in school environments. For the same purposes, 60 million are allocated to private schools. Local authorities will have 70 million available, in addition to those not spent last year, for the rental of premises and the rental of temporary structures to increase the number of spaces dedicated to teaching.

Furthermore, 400 million have been allocated to activate further temporary assignments of ATA and teaching staff, in particular for the recovery of learning. On school transport, the work of the prefectoral coordination tables continues and the connection with the Ministry of Infrastructures and Sustainable Mobility is constant.
