DNA test confirms Prigozhin's death

“As part of the investigation of the plane crash in the Tver region, molecular genetic examinations were completed“, the Russian Investigative Committee said today, in a statement on Telegram.

"Based on the results, the identities of all 10 dead were established which match the list in the flight log“, the investigators specify.

The Russian Federal Aviation Agency had published, just two hours after the accident, the names of all 10 passengers of the private plane that crashed on Wednesday in the Tver region, north-west of Moscow. Among them were Prigozhin and his right arm Dmitry Utkin, co-founder of the Wagner group.

The Russian authorities, however, have not yet commented on the cause of the crash of Prigozhin's private plane.

Wagner's paramilitaries have left Ukraine and some of them have moved to neighboring Belarus, under the terms of an agreement with the defense ministry. Many of them will be absorbed into the Russian regular army.

For those who remained in Africa, one would think of assigning them a new leader, coming from the ranks of the military in service.
