In relation to the publication of some articles which have recently appeared in certain press organs which report the alleged application of state secrecy on the accident which caused the death of Major Fabio Altruda, who tragically died aboard a Eurofighter aircraft last year 13 December 2022, the AM specifies that these statements are not true. In fact, all the relevant documentation has long been available to the competent Judicial Authority.
Even the black box was delivered without delay to the aforementioned judicial authority and is still under seizure. Furthermore, it is strongly emphasized that the AM continues to cooperate fully with the investigating authorities in order to shed light on the incident, distrusting anyone from spreading false, defamatory and completely detached information from the concrete reality of the facts.
