Fatal accident tonight on Via Casilina: Two dead and one seriously injured. The car had been stolen.

Around 22,30 pm, following a report received from some passers-by on the 112 line, the Carabinieri from the Segni station, Gavignano and from the Radiomobile Unit of the Colleferro Company intervened in via Casilina where a black BMW car, found to be stolen, with three men on board, while it was traveling along the aforementioned stretch of road in the direction of Anagni-Colleferro, when it reached the municipality of Segni at km.52.500, probably due to the high speed, it overturned and caught fire.

On site firefighters from Colleferro and Palestrina managed to put out the flames, while the medical staff of 118 noted the death of two occupants. The third, thrown out of the passenger compartment, was transported under code red to the Colleferro hospital and then transferred, due to the serious injuries sustained, to the Tor Vergata Polyclinic where his life remains in danger.

The car and the burglary tools, found inside the bonnet, were seized by the Carabinieri  The bodies were moved to the mortuary of the Tor Vergata Polyclinic where they were identified thanks also to fingerprints. The three occupants of the car, the two dead and the one hospitalized, are all Albanian citizens, domiciled in Rome, all with precedents for crimes against property.
