With the support of SACE, which together with SIMEST is the Polo of Export and Internationalization of the CDP Group, the Oleificio Sità Calabrian SME has secured oil supplies to India for 150000 Euros.
SACE's presence in India with an office in Mumbai has allowed Oleifici Sità to offer its Indian customers competitive payment delays, ensuring that they can not pay due to commercial and political reasons.
The transaction confirms SACE and SIMEST's commitment to Southern Italian SMEs. This is a support that continues over time, a key aspect for small and medium size companies. Oleifici Sità has in fact, in the last two years, provided four supply contracts with SACE, all for exports to India: operations that have enabled Calabrian SMEs to expand their scope to a new, wealthy market.
The company Agnana Calabra (Reggio Calabria), led by the Sità family for four generations, operates in the field of olive oil by exporting olive oil worldwide. Its strong international vocation is also demonstrated by the fact that 85% of its turnover comes from export activities in more than 50 Countries.
With 3,3 billion of goods exported in 2016, India is a priority market for Italian companies that still has large margins of penetration. It is no coincidence that SACE, in its Annual Export Report, includes the country among the 15 geographies with the greatest potential for Italian exports in the next four years, with an average annual growth rate of 6,2%. Instrumental mechanics, automotive, infrastructure and construction and renewable energy sectors that will offer the best opportunities.
