Ismea, the extension to all of Italy of the concessions for young farmers with zero-rate mortgages and non-repayable contributions is underway

Minister Patuanelli and Ismea launch the new measure called "Piùimpresa" which finances the takeover and development operations of youth-run companies throughout the national territory, through zero-rate mortgages and non-repayable contributions

Minister Patuanelli's visit to Ismea which took place today was an opportunity to get to know the Institute's structure and activities up close, but also to launch the new facilitating tool for young farmers. Thanks to the innovations present in the Simplifications decree, it will be possible, in fact, also for young agricultural entrepreneurs in Central and Northern Italy, to add a non-repayable contribution to the zero-rate mortgage to finance the expansion of an existing company or to start a project. of start-ups as part of a generational changeover operation.

The mix of the two concessions, previously envisaged only in the South (see the Rest in the South decree) has in fact been extended to the entire national territory.

“The new measure in favor of young people extended on a national scale - affirms Minister Patuanelli - is part of that series of initiatives dedicated to supporting innovation. "More business" is a tool that looks in this direction and offers a professional opportunity to all the new generations who intend to restore value to our land. Young people are the point of contact for all the policies that Mipaaf carries out, starting with the ecological and digital transition, and must be fully included in the instruments supporting the agricultural development of the territories. Territories that must benefit from sustainable agriculture in environmental and social terms. It is a further step towards Agriculture 5.0 that the Ministry intends to facilitate through digital innovation and environmentally friendly agro-industrial practices "

In detail, the measure called Piùimpresa finances investments of up to € 1.500.000 for the development or consolidation in the sectors of agricultural production, processing and marketing of agricultural products and diversification of agricultural income.

The concessions consist of a non-repayable grant of up to 35% of eligible expenses and a zero-rate mortgage for the remainder, within the limits of 60% of the investment. The maximum duration is set at 15 years with a pre-amortization period of up to 30 months.

The recipients of the intervention are micro, small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises organized in the form of sole proprietorships or companies, managed and run by young people aged between 18 and 41 years of age.

An important intervention in line with the strategic objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan which will offer the agri-food sector further opportunities for modernization and sustainable development ”.

Pending the next publication in the Official Gazette of the implementing decree, from Friday 30 April at 10:00 the new portal will be active for the presentation of applications that will be processed according to the order of arrival.
