Aspiring startuppers and entrepreneurs have until June 30 to apply for the program that will reward the most deserving project with an incubation and mentorship path

The collection of applications for Human Knowledge Lab (HK Lab), an initiative of Joule, Eni's school for business, starts today. This is a pre-incubation process launched in collaboration with LVenture Group, which is aimed at all those entrepreneurial ideas that are particularly innovative in terms of sustainability, the circular economy and the energy transition, regardless of the sector they belong to. Eni, in line with the priority importance attributed to training, thus renews its commitment to support the Italian entrepreneurial fabric in a historical moment of great challenges and profound transformations, and does so through Joule, a school dedicated to the training of a new generation of entrepreneurs and the acceleration of startups, providing tools and developing skills.

HK Lab's path will unfold in several stages during the year, each of which will see the participants confront each other in a challenge that will determine the most deserving project. The first stage of HK Lab aims to provide skills to aspiring and current entrepreneurs who intend to validate their innovative ideas and face the challenges related to the theme of the circular economy, declined in specific areas of innovation. Once the application phase is closed, the most interesting projects will be selected to participate in the training course, which will take place next September at the Eni headquarters dedicated to training - Villa Montecucco in Castel Gandolfo (Rome) and which involves a 7-day commitment. full-time.

At the end of the week, the winning project will be rewarded with an incubation course provided through PoliHub, the Innovation Park & ​​Startup Accelerator of the Politecnico di Milano, Joule's partner of excellence. In addition, the two best projects will be able to access a package of personalized Eni services through Energizer, Joule's business accelerator, which will provide advice based on the business needs of individual teams.

Thanks to this innovative format, HK Lab aims to provide participants with tools relating to transversal aspects to all sectors, not just energy, useful for validating their business idea. During the Idea Validation phase, topics such as market analysis and identification of the reference target will be dealt with; the validation and realization of the prototype of the idea; the study of the acquisition channels and the first market tests; the validation of the business concept and the definition of a development roadmap.

The program also includes a preparatory phase of remote onboarding and a path for the development of soft skills and soft skills, developed in an integrated and coherent way with the contents of HK Lab.

Along the way, developed with engaging and laboratory approaches, contributions from the founders of the startups of the LVenture Group portfolio, from internal Eni and external experts from the innovation ecosystem, from Business Schools and academic contexts of excellence will alternate.
