Last afternoon, the Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Division of the Colleferro Company, assisted by colleagues from the Valmontone station, arrested two people, a 33-year-old from Colonna and a 41-year-old from Rome, seriously suspected of continuous robbery as well as receiving stolen goods, injuries, violence and resistance to a public official.

The story arises from a 112 report relating to a man and a woman who, after having removed household appliances and other products, pushed the employees of a supermarket in Labico and disappeared in a car.

The immediate intervention of two Carabinieri patrols from the Colleferro Company made it possible to acquire useful elements for tracing them, in fact, after a short time, the Radiomobile soldiers identified the car, which was also the subject of theft, inside the car park of another supermarket in Labico, a few kilometers away from the first. The Carabinieri then noticed a man and a woman stealthily exiting the emergency door of the supermarket, without passing through the checkouts, who noticed the presence of the soldiers and, after hastily loading the car with numerous other goods, attempted to flee. .

The woman was promptly blocked while the man attempted to walk away and go back inside the supermarket but was caught and stopped.

The 33-year-old, however, attempted to free himself by throwing kicks and punches at a Carabinieri, causing him minor injuries, and attacking two customers who approached to help the soldier, who was then forced to use the taser supplied to permanently immobilize it. 118 health personnel also intervened on site and noted the man's good health conditions.

The search of the car made it possible to recover the entire stolen goods stolen from both businesses, with a total value of around 1.300 euros, returned to the owners of the supermarkets who formalized a complaint and delivered the images from which the criminal conduct of the suspects is clearly evident .

Subsequent investigations allowed the Carabinieri to ascertain that the man was also burdened by an arrest order issued on 4 July 2024 by the Court of Palmi (RC) for family mistreatment, home invasion and damage followed by fire.

Both were arrested flagrantly and at the end of the formalities they were taken to Velletri prison, where they will have to defend themselves against charges of continued robbery, receiving stolen goods, injuries, violence and resistance to a public official.

Further checks are underway by the Colleferro Carabinieri to ascertain whether they are held responsible for similar facts which occurred to the detriment of similar commercial activities.
