Reconstruction of the Lenzino bridge, summit at MIT with MIBACT: green light for the Anas project

Agreement between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and the General Management of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage on the Anas project for the definitive reconstruction of Ponte Lenzino, the viaduct that collapsed in the province of Piacenza on 3 October last. Sharing the identified project will allow for a simplification of procedures and a consequent reduction in time.

During a videoconference meeting, the design solution was shared with the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Paola De Micheli, which involves the construction of the new viaduct on the route of the historic bridge, according to safety criteria and modern construction standards and without any critical issues of nature. landscape or historical.

During the summit it was also communicated that on Tuesday a first inspection will be held on the bridge, authorized by the Public Prosecutor's Office, to start the diagnostic investigations on the ground and the drafting of the plan to remove the rubble in the riverbed.

As regards the temporary bridge, whose project has already been completed by Anas, the preliminary authorization for its construction has been granted.

“The paths we had anticipated are confirmed - affirms Minister De Micheli - during the meeting with the local administrators in the Prefecture in Piacenza. Based on the availability expressed by the General Management of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the procedure for the final reconstruction of the collapsed bridge will be significantly simplified ”.
