Cybertech Europe (https://italy.cybertechconference.com/it), an international event dedicated to digital security organized in collaboration with Leonardo, leaves tomorrow for the fourth consecutive year in Rome. The company's Chief Executive Officer, Alessandro Profumo, will open the works by lighting a beacon on the need to strengthen cooperation between industry, institutions and allied countries to counter cyber risk and develop a European digital independence.
Industry studies show that on a global level, serious cyber attacks have increased tenfold in the last two years compared to the previous one, with 1.552 attacks in 2018 alone. Cyber espionage crimes with geopolitical or industrial-type aims, including intellectual property theft, have also grown in 57%. The computer security market is booming, with an estimated global value of around 180 billion in the 2021.

At Cybertech Europe Leonardo's experts will intervene in different sessions and, in a dedicated exhibition space, live demos will be presented on the analysis of the cyber scenario, cyber range & training and the protection of critical infrastructures, using emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, reality augmented, blockchain, big data & analytics and virtualization and simulation techniques.
