Yesterday morning, in Gorga, the Carabinieri of the local station, assisted by those of Gavignano and Segni, arrested a 43-year-old from the province of Rome, seriously suspected of violence and resisting a public official.

The military intervened in Gorga, following a report received by the emergency number 112, because in front of a business on Via San Marino, a man, in a state of psychophysical alteration, had slapped a customer in the face for trivial reasons.

During the identification phase, the 43-year-old initially appeared calm, when at a certain point, in order to evade the control, he used violence and resisted the soldiers who, with no small amount of effort, managed to immobilize him, but suffered minor injuries.

For this reason the man was arrested and brought this morning before the GIP of the Velletri Court who validated the arrest and ordered him to serve an 8 month suspended prison sentence.
