“The result achieved by the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples, by the ICQRF inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and by the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, demonstrates how operational synergy is the most effective tool to defend honest entrepreneurship and people's good faith. The Ministry of Agriculture, with the ICQRF Department, is at the forefront of dealing with the fraudulent phenomena connected to the expansion of the interests of agro-mafias and agri-food crimes in general. Ensuring more effective controls to guarantee the citizens and producers who keep the Made in Italy name high: this is the strategy we want to put in place to enhance our excellence", said the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests , Francesco Lollobrigida, on the operation which is implementing an order for the application of personal and real precautionary measures issued by the GIP of the Court of North Naples, against 13 subjects (4 of whom drawn from pre-trial detention in prison and 9 from measure of house arrest) as well as the seizure of 3 clandestine companies and factories dedicated to the illegal production of counterfeit food products.
