Green light for the presentation of applications to obtain the catering fund. From tomorrow until November 28, restaurants, farmhouses, canteens, catering, hotels, will be able to request a grant, up to a maximum of 10 thousand euros, for the purchase of products from the agricultural and food supply chains, including PDO and PGI, including wine, thus enhancing the raw material of the territories.

“In this difficult moment for the restaurant world, we are giving a concrete signal to the companies, the women and men who work there every day and the entire food chain. We guarantee immediate liquidity and strengthen the extraordinary alliance between the world of catering and production ”, underlines Minister Bellanova. “It is a measure that I strongly wanted to support catering, the agri-food chain, relaunch the purchases of quality and Italian-origin agri-food products, including wine, prevent food waste to aim for the virtuous recovery of surpluses. Agri-food is our strength. Catering is an integral part of the agri-food chain. We work to support them. We invest in food. Let's bring the future to the table ”.
The mechanism for submitting the application is simple and effective. From Sunday 15 November to Saturday 28 November it will be sufficient to connect to the website www.portaleristorazione.it or go to a post office and present the invoices for the purchases made from August onwards of Italian food and wine products.
After an initial check, an advance of 90% of the purchases made will be paid automatically. Once the documentation has been verified, bank transfers will be issued for the balance of the granted contribution.
