The deadline for submitting applications to the Catering Fund has been extended to 15 December.

In response to requests from the sector, restaurants, farmhouses, canteens, catering, hotels, will have another 17 days, compared to the original deadline set for November 28, to request the grant, up to a maximum of 10 thousand euros, for the purchase of agricultural and food chain products, including PDO and PGI, including wine, thus enhancing the raw material of the territories.

Applications for the "catering bonus" can be submitted through the portal of the restaurant at www.portaleristorazione.it or at the counters of the post offices, attaching the invoices for purchases made from August onwards of Italian food and wine products.

“At this time of great difficulty for the entire sector, our task is to address the critical issues, simplify the bureaucracy, and enable everyone to access the measures prepared by the Government to support the sectors in difficulty. Considering the difficulties that this sector continues to experience, and in response to the requests received, we have decided to extend the deadline for submitting applications ”, announced Minister Teresa Bellanova.

"This Fund is an innovative measure, which aims to help restaurateurs and restaurateurs, support the agri-food chain, relaunch the purchases of quality agri-food products of Italian origin, starting with PDO and PGI, counteract surpluses and waste. Catering is a central piece, a nerve center, of the agri-food chain, being able to have more time to submit requests for help is important. The sector has asked us and we have worked in this direction. To continue to secure the entire supply chain and ease the difficulties that all the men and women who work there face every day, the entire supply chain ”.
