MiPAAF: Minister Patuanelli signed the 80 million decree for animal husbandry

The 80 million euro decree was signed by the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies for the livestock sectors affected by the increase in the cost of raw materials, high energy costs and the direct and indirect consequences of the conflict in Ukraine.

The provision, which received the agreement of the State-Regions Conference on 6 July, intervenes on some of the livestock sectors most affected by the excessive increase in production costs, due to the increase in feed and other increases charged to the companies.

The granting of economic support is envisaged for agricultural enterprises for the breeding of pigs, sows, calves, goats, rabbits, laying hens, turkeys, chickens, cattle of indigenous breeds.

The total amount of resources is equal to 80 million euros, out of the Fund for the development and support of the agricultural, fishing and aquaculture sectors (so-called Fondo Filiere).
