MIPAAFT: Hundred, at the start automation of wine declarations and food districts projects

The agreement was reached, in the State-Regions Conference, on two decrees proposed by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies, concerning one the automation of harvest declarations and wine production, the other the modalities with which the Ministry will be able to finance the activities and investments proposed by the Food Districts.

The decree concerning the automation of harvest declarations and wine production, which is highly anticipated and required by the entire wine production chain, will make it possible to reduce the burden of bureaucracy to a minimum. All producers, obliged by law to declare each year the quantity of grapes harvested and wine produced, will be provided with a pre-filled declaration which, using the data already present in the online registers, in the absence of particular cellar movements, must simply be signed.

The second decree, proposed by Mipaaft, in agreement with the Mise, in implementation of the state aid regime authorized by the European Commission for district contracts, provides, in a time period of two years for the decree, the opening of a first call in the coming weeks so that the Food Districts, recognized by the Regions, can nominate their projects for funding. Eligible expenses include investments, research and promotion activities and the implementation of a district contract for the area affected by the Xylella bacterium.

"We simplify and simplify the work of wine producers, who will finally be able to fulfill mandatory requirements automatically without any incomprehensible and costly bureaucratic burdens for all companies, and we will finally start with the candidacy of projects for Food Districts, fundamental design tools territorial. We aim to give support to those who aggregate and build investment projects that see local institutions and private entities united in relaunching our agricultural areas". This is what is declared by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies, Sen. Gian Marco Centinaio.
