Mario Galbusera, the king of cookies, died

Last night, at the age of 93 years, Mario Galbusera, founder and guide for over 60 years, died of the homonymous biscuit factory of Cosio Valtellino in the province of Sondrio.

Mario Galbusera had inherited his family confectionery from his father Ermete and turned it into one of the most important national confectionery companies, earning a substantial slice of the international market.

In the family business he has worked more than sixty years dedicating himself to the production and strategy of the company.

In the last period Galbusera was the honorary president of the company.

After his studies as an accountant and a short period at the Bocconi University in Milan, Mario Galbusera together with his brother Enea had dedicated himself to family activity, making it, in a few years, one of the most famous brands in the national confectionery industry.

In the 2002 he was awarded the honor of Cavaliere del Lavoro.
