North Korea: CIA, Pyongyang close to perfecting nuclear capabilities

CIA chief Mike Pompeo says North Korea will have perfected its nuclear capability in a few months, but warns that it is one thing to be able to launch a single nuclear missile and another to produce a lot of material. fissile enough for an entire arsenal.

According to the British daily newspaper The Guardian, Pompey himself, intervening in a security forum in Washington, claims that President Trump has concluded that it needs a global effort to prevent the North Korean president from reaching this capacity. "We all want to avoid resolving this crisis without resorting to military action ", the CIA chief said, adding however that President Trump is ready to use force if necessary to ensure that Kim Jong-Un does not have the ability to put America at risk.

China, Pompey remarks, has done more than could be thought to reduce its business relations with Pyongyang, but it can further engage in this path.

However, the technological capabilities of protection for the reentry into the atmosphere of North Korean nuclear warheads, through the use of protective thermal shields that prevent the attainment of self-destruction temperatures of the bombs themselves, does not seem to be in North Korea's possession yet: it is just a matter of time.
