The State Police unmasks an alleged association "for the development of positive energy": followers were induced to attend paid courses, to overcome mental blocks and taboos, and forced to undergo sexual intercourse
They would have organized "courses" based on the development of positive energy to be able to live without conditioning and in harmony with themselves, but behind these meetings the State Police discovered a series of sexual violence between 2016 and 2018.
For this reason, a 46-year-old man from Siena ended up under house arrest yesterday and the measure of the residence obligation for his partner (at the time of the facts), a 50-year-old woman, originally from Veneto, was applied.
The precautionary custody order, carried out by the Florence Mobile Squad in collaboration with that of Siena, coordinated by the Central Operational Service of Rome, was issued by the GIP of the Court of Florence at the request of the Deputy Prosecutor Angela Pietroiusti of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the capital Tuscan directed by the Prosecutor Giuseppe CREAZZO.
According to the investigative hypothesis, the two, in competition with each other, with violence, deception and taking advantage of the vulnerable situation of the victims, would have reduced and kept in a state of subjection several people who had joined an association in the area of Montepulciano (managed and directed by the 46-year-old in collaboration with the woman) to overcome, through their energy theories, problems deriving from previous negative experiences they had in the family, sentimental and, more generally, in relational relationships that limited their autonomous ability to self-determination.
These theories were intended to falsely make the followers believe that in order to achieve psychophysical well-being and attract positive energy, they would have to, upon payment, buy gadgets, amulets, discs, stones (with a variable cost up to 800 euros) and attend, always for a fee, the various training courses and group meetings.
These meetings, called “Deltalife”, would have allowed the participants to reach inner balance through the purification of the soul: each one told his own story and his own problems comparing himself with the others.
Among other things, the "unfortunate" would also have to perform free work within the association or in the suspect's home.
The latter would have exercised, as a spiritual guide, powers such as to place the followers in conditions of total psychological subjection to the point of indulging him in every decision, which they perceive as absolutely necessary to ward off negative energy and thus avoid suffering, in humiliating way and in the presence of all, exemplary punishments directed against those who had not followed his teachings.
They would finally be forced, after having prevented them from any family, social and work relationship, to sexual services and to give substantial sums of money.
With reference to the techniques used to condition the will of the followers, what emerged during a wiretapping in which the suspect brags to a friend of using hypnosis is particularly significant.
The couple is also accused in competition of having illegally exercised, in the absence of qualifications and in violation of the law, the profession of "psychologist psychotherapist", a source of considerable earnings for the two, carrying out consultations for numerous people over time. from courses, individual lessons, therapeutic courses and interviews during which, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the trainees, the suspect would have induced them to perform or suffer sexual acts.
The 46-year-old is also held responsible for having, within the association managed by him, abusively exercised the profession of doctor in the absence of a qualifying title by carrying out for payment typical acts reserved for the profession with more patients suffering from serious diseases, such as asthma, heart attack brain, stroke and against the mother of a trainee with ALS.
In a video uploaded to "You Tube" a letter of introduction of the association was posted, defining it as a philosophy of life founded by the two, who together would have combined their knowledge and experience in various fields even if the investigations made it possible to ascertain that both they had never earned any professional qualifications that had anything to do with psychology or medicine.
In the ordinance the 46-year-old is challenged with a series of sexual violence (one in competition with the woman) consumed during the meetings and which would have been represented to the victims as an absolutely necessary practice to be "free" and overcome their mental blocks and prejudices that do not made it possible to achieve spiritual well-being.
In other cases the adepts would have been threatened that if they did not consent to sexual acts, a negative presence would arrive that would destroy their lives on an energetic level.
The investigations, supported by relevant technical activities, began with the report of a mother worried about the conduct of her child completely absorbed by the association's disciplines.
According to what was learned by the investigators, the latter had in fact moved away from his family and had changed his behavior by assuming increasingly aggressive attitudes.
To follow the energy disciplines advertised by the suspect, the young university student had participated in various courses also abroad and had handed over to the 46-year-old all his savings for an amount of about 8000 euros.
