Di Maio under crossfire announces the "reorganization" of the Movement

(by Massimiliano D'Elia) Luigi Di Maio after the analysis of the vote in Sardinia: "Forward with the reorganization, between today and tomorrow there will be important news for the MSS. It is useless to compare the administrative with the policies. Nothing changes for the government".

There is an air of crisis within the pentastellato movement. The result of voting in Sardinia is a cleaver on the heads of the leadership. Di Maio calls for a new internal organization, Grillo thunders, "maybe we are incapable". The only certainty is that between today and tomorrow the M5S will rely on the network again. On the controversial platform Rousseau proposals to speed up the announced reorganization will be published.

One of Di Maio's proposals is to bind to civic lists in the territories. Di Maio, in fact, speaks of "true civic lists", not like those seen in elections where no list has a tradition prior to the election campaign. The idea is therefore to come up with lists that in any case collect activists and 'organic' candidates for the Movement.

The reorganization of the Movement was agreed during the Roman lunch last Thursday between Di Maio, Grillo and Casaleggio. In these days, however, there will be the presentation of the new architecture of the Movement. A national team divided according to regional themes and referents, for which it will be first and foremost by the most famous faces, such as Giancarlo Cancelleri in Sicily, Sara Marcozzi in Abruzzo, Max Bugani in Emilia Romagna.

The goal is to give greater weight to decision-making to all the leaders, even those scattered throughout the territory.

Despite the air of reorganization the base is still angry with Luigi Di Maio. In many of them, the "debacle" of the movement is pointed out in him, at least 300 thousand votes have been lost in Sardinia, transited to the cdx (most precisely to the government ally, the Lega di Matteo Salvini).

The reactions from Rome do not wait. Senator Paola Nugnes, close to Roberto Fico, was clear: "A top-down reorganization is not the solution. Di Maio's leadership must be questioned".

Di Maio remains optimistic and aims at the next Europeans to keep at least 25% of the preferences.
