On the other hand, shops, kindergartens and schools will remain open.

The contacts between the EU capitals are becoming more frequent and frenetic, in the afternoon, via video conference, the heads of state and government will discuss probable joint actions according to a package of guidelines that will illustrate the Von der Leyen. Among the measures under discussion is the request to governments to increase quick tampons to manage the pandemic and the need for promote tracking apps nationals and systematize them among the EU countries. Rapid tests will also have to be implemented at airports to avoid blocking air traffic. Good news, however, is recorded on the vaccine front which according to the EMA could be authorized between the end of January and the beginning of February. In light of this news, according to Von der Leyen 20-50 million doses per month could be distributed as of April. In this regard, von der Lyen will invite EU countries to prepare dedicated national vaccination plans right now.
