Tomorrow, Wednesday 12 May, starting at 10 am, the winners of the IX edition of the National Olympics of Classical Languages ​​and Civilizations will be announced. The awards ceremony can be followed live on YouTube  (the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4Q9ym9elhM2CdV0UZodmgQ) and on the website of the Ministry.

This year, girls and boys from all over Italy participated in the digital version of the Olympics, including all regions. 239 schools of origin, one hundred more than in the previous edition. Thousands of students in school competitions, over 800 participants in regional competitions: 543 girls and 264 boys.

The awards event will be preceded by a series of speeches by Cinzia Bearzot, Professor of Greek History at the Catholic University of Milan, Paolo De Paolis, Professor of Latin Language and Literature at the University of Verona, Renzo Tosi, Professor of Greek Language and Literature at the University of Bologna and Ugo Cardinale, former Professor of General Linguistics at the University of Trieste.
