A criminal association aimed at drug trafficking operating in Frosinone and on the Roman coast has been overthrown by the State Police: 10 pre-trial detention orders carried out
The State Police of Frosinone carried out a precautionary custody order issued by the Court of Rome at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome, against 10 people, (9 recipients of the precautionary custody measure in prison and 1 at home), for criminal association aimed at drug trafficking and corruption operating in Frosinone and in the Ardea area (RM).
Numerous searches were also carried out as part of the operation.
The investigation made it possible to bring to light the existence of a criminal association that had managed to penetrate even within the walls of the Frosinone prison, through the corruption of an agent of the Penitentiary Police, carried out by some offenders who were serving the penalty in the institute.
The officer was arrested in August 2017 on his way to work, after a substantial amount of cocaine, hashish and marijuana, as well as phone cards, cell phones and valuables were found in his car and concealed on him. all objects that had been given to him by the wife of one of his corrupters.
The woman, as emerged from the subsequent investigative findings, had over time imposed herself at the top of the association, passing from the role of simple lookout to that of lieutenant of the head of the organization, an offender of Albanian origin.
The base from which to sell the drug had been established in a building in a popular area of Frosinone and there were hundreds of employers who went there within twenty-four hours to buy the drug.
The sales activity, relying on a large network of drug dealers and lookouts, some of whom also involved in drug custody, had expanded to the aforementioned locality on the Lazio coast.
The investigative findings have already led in recent months to the arrest of various members of the association and the seizure of significant quantities of drugs of various kinds.
The measurements were carried out by the policemen of the Flying Squad, with the help of anti-drug canine units of the Canine Department of the State Police of Neptune, of a helicopter of the XNUMXst Flight Department of the State Police of Pratica di Mare and of the agents of the Department Crime Prevention by the State Police.
