From 25 to 27 November the Ministry of Education at Job & Orienta. Minister Bianchi was also present 

Job & Orienta, the exhibition dedicated to orientation, training and work, is back again this year, and this time in attendance, to be held from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 November at the Verona Fair. “Next Generation: orientation, sustainability, digital”, this is the theme of the event, now in its thirtieth edition.

The Ministry of Education will be present with a large exhibition space, with a rich program, including events, workshops, meetings and with the story of experiences of excellence.

The Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi will speak with a greeting video for the opening of the Salone on 25 November. He will then be present at the initiative, on Saturday 27 November, starting at 10.00, to meet the school world and illustrate, during the event, “The PNRR and the sustainable future. Dialogue between the Regions and the Ministers of Labor and Education ”, the contents of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr). The Minister will also take part, via video link, in the “JOB & Orienta international: Digital skills and job prospects” initiative, which will be held on Friday 26 November, starting at 15.30 pm. 

From the offer of ITS to the school of the future, the Ministry's program

The Ministry of Education will be at Job & Orienta with over two thousand square meters of exhibition spaces and moments of illustration and comparison during which students, students, families, teachers and experts will be able to find out about the various training courses. An opportunity to understand how the labor market is changing - also as a result of technological innovation and the ecological transition processes underway - and what the professions and educational paths of the future will be.

The Ministry will illustrate its strategies for improving the education system, with particular attention to innovation in teaching, technical and professional paths, guidance. We will also talk about sustainability, new skills, civic education and digitalization, sports at school. But the presence at Job & Orienta will also be an opportunity to enhance and tell in depth the activities of the schools, highlighting some significant experiences that will come from all over Italy.

During the three days of the Exhibition, for example, it will be possible to get to know the territorial laboratories for employability (LTO) of schools, or highly innovative laboratories, financed under the National Plan for digital school, through which and develop advanced teaching practices, in collaboration with the world of work and with the territory, and professional figures are trained in the strategic sectors of Made in Italy. From the production of ecological fabrics to the digitization of the artistic heritage, 15 experiences will be told.

At the ministerial stand, it will then be possible to deepen the didactic offer of the Higher Technical Institutes (ITS), through the story of twenty experiences. One of the major events organized by MI at Job & Orienta will also be dedicated to ITS, entitled “Starting again from ITS for the transformation of work 4.0”, scheduled for November 26 at 12.00. Then there will be a selection of experiences also from the technical and professional institutes, with the leading schools of national networks, from mechatronics, to the hotel network: a great story told by and with the students to bring out the wealth and competitiveness of these training courses that qualify the professionalism of Made in Italy.

In the space dedicated to the Safer Internet Center, a project led by the Ministry and co-financed by the European Commission, issues related to digital security will be addressed, such as the responsible use of technological tools by young people. In particular, workshops will be organized to show young people how to take care of their digital reputation, also from a working perspective, reflecting on the possible consequences of a wrong use of social networks and technologies.  

There will be events dedicated to discussions with experts in which topics such as the transformation of work 4.0, the challenge of the ecological transition and the job opportunities it offers, the importance of sport not only as a physical activity, but also as a dimension will be addressed. of well-being, personal development and a determining factor of inclusion. Undersecretary Rossano Sasso, in particular, will be present on November 25th, at 13.30 pm, at the MI stand for a talk on high-level student-athlete experimentation.   

In the MI stand there will also be a space dedicated to "ReGeneration School", the Plan for the ecological and cultural transition of schools, where it will be possible to know and deepen the projects and initiatives that school institutions throughout the country are putting in practice together with a network of over 140 institutional partners.
