PAC, Hundred: adopted today dm extends questions to 15 June

The ministerial decree extending applications for the Common Agricultural Policy was published yesterday on the Mipaaft website. The deadlines for submitting the single application for direct payments of the CAP are extended to June 15, 2019.

Thanks to the same decree, the managing authorities of the regional rural development programs will be able to postpone the deadlines for submitting payment applications relating to certain rural development measures. “I am satisfied that the European Commission has accepted the request to extend the period for submitting applications regarding the intervention policies of the Common Agricultural Policy.

Thanks to the decree, which had already received the agreement of the State Regions Conference, farmers will be facilitated in the timing of the presentation of applications to access funding. One small step. We have already expressed our concerns at European level for the economic cuts envisaged by the CAP reform. Italy, while doing its part within the framework of EU agreements, is not willing to ask farmers for further sacrifices without offering adequate resources in return ”.

This was stated by the Minister of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies, Gian Marco Centinaio, following the publication of the execution regulation (EU) 2019 / 766 with which it was possible to adopt the ministerial decree.
