The State Police of Palermo, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Palermo and by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court, has carried out 2 Custody Ordinances in Prison, 2 Custody Ordinances in house arrest, 2 Ordinances of the obligation of residence in the municipality of residence and 3 Custody Ordinances in prison against n. 3 minors, for a total of 9 orders against a criminal association dedicated to thefts and robberies to the detriment of commercial establishments in the Sicilian capital.
Five subjects, of which 2 are minors, are accused of being part of a criminal association aimed at stealing and robbery; in particular the criminal group made use of the collaboration of various accomplices and often used means, such as motorcycles, theft proceeds, premises made available for the deposit of the stolen goods, telephone utilities dedicated to communications between the group, even through a sort of telephone conference ; the crimes were often preceded by careful daylight inspections inside or near the exercises that were used to study the type of lock to be unhinged.
As part of the operation, thanks to the results of the interceptions, the Mobile Squad agents were able to recover jewelry and precious items for the total amount of approximately 35.000 euros.
