Payments, at the 10mila Exhibition

The Payments Show has touched all the technological innovations we have available. With 10 Mila attendance, 60 discussion sessions, over 30 workshops and 300 interventions, 200 accredited journalists, the three days of work have indicated concrete trends and perspectives.

«The dematerialization of cash and digital innovations in the world of payments and transactions - underlines the President of ABI Antonio Patuelli - promote a new and concrete culture of legality. The Salone dei Pagamenti demonstrates how Italy is in the foreground in the area of innovation. We are aware that in the competition on new technologies in a globalized world our country, and the related banking, financial and corporate world, are absolutely competitive ".

This year the Show has explored 8 thematic strands: “The future of global payments”; the “Bank (R) evolution”; “Shopping without Cash”; “Mobile and Millennials”; “Towards a Digital Society”; “Artificial Intelligence is coming”; "Blockchain & Cryptocurrencies"; "Privacy & Security". The large exhibition spaces of the MiCo-Milano Congressi were open free to the public for the entire duration of the conference and animated by dialogue and discussion between all the players involved in the payment process. Not only banks and market operators, therefore, but also technology providers and Fintechs; telephone network operators; Institutions and the Public Administration; small, large and micro enterprises; the world of professionals and VAT numbers; the large chains of trade and distribution, at the forefront of payments; end users of payment services and instruments, i.e. citizens and households who represent today's and tomorrow's consumers; schools, teachers and universities.

The event - promoted by ABI in collaboration with organizations promoted by it such as the Foundation for Financial Education and Savings, the CBI Consortium and the ABI Lab Consortium, under the patronage of the Agency for Digital Italy and organized by ABIServizi - confirms once again this year its particular attention to the training of young and very young people, dedicating them various moments of in-depth study on financial education issues and a series of events developed precisely to involve hundreds of children from lower secondary schools .
