Early retirement so-called "Women's Option". INPS instructions

The INPS publishes the instructions for accessing the early retirement so-called "women's option", provided for by the 2023 Budget Law (L.197/2022).

The option can be exercised by female workers who by 31 December 2022 have accrued seniority of contributions of at least 35 years and a registered age of at least 60 years and who are - at the date of submission of the application - in one of the following conditions:

a)         have been assisting for at least six months the spouse or part of the civil union or a first-degree relative cohabiting with a disability in a serious situation, or a second-degree relative or similar cohabiting in the event that the parents, spouse or civil union of the person with severe handicap have reached the age of seventy or are also affected by disabling pathologies or are deceased or missing;

b)         present a reduction in working capacity, ascertained by the competent Commissions for the recognition of civil invalidity, equal to at least 74%;

c)         are employed or fired from companies for which a discussion table for managing the company crisis is active as of 1/1/2023 or is activated at a later date. 

The age requirement is reduced by one year for each child, for a maximum of two years for the workers referred to in the letters a) e b).

The age requirement is 58 for the female workers referred to in the letter c) even in the absence of children.

The pension treatment starts once the term of twelve months has elapsed from the date of accrual of the requisites for female employees and eighteen months for self-employed female workers.
