Israel provides evidence of the presence of a Hezbollah missile project in Beirut

The Israeli military announced on Thursday a video clip and photos that would demonstrate the construction of missile sites by Hezbollah. The images were released a few minutes after the intervention by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the UN General Assembly.

"In Lebanon, Iran is directing Hezbollah to build secret sites to convert inaccurate shells into precision-guided missiles, missiles that can hit the depths of Israeli territory with an accuracy of 10 meters (meters)."

The clip would refer to a "Missile Accuracy Project (MAP)" which, according to Israel, Hezbollah would try to transfer "to the heart of the city of Beirut".

The Israeli army also said that the deployment of facilities near Beirut International Airport "is knowingly endangering the Lebanese civilian population".

Muhammad Afif, Hezbollah media officer, declined to comment on the report.
