Plenitude and LeasePlan together for dedicated electric recharging solutions

Plenitude (Eni), through its subsidiary Be Charge, has signed an agreement with LeasePlan Italia to offer dedicated electric charging services.

The partnership provides LeasePlan customers with multiple opportunities and the supply of top-up packages with specific solutions designed for the needs of small and medium-sized businesses, private customers and large companies. The services offered by Plenitude also include the supply of wallboxes, charging stations and advanced consumption reporting.

The agreement makes long-term rental easier, which represents an alternative to buying an electric vehicle and an important formula for making a concrete contribution to the development of sustainable mobility in a flexible way.

Stefano Goberti, CEO of Plenitude, commented: “The development of electric mobility is part of our strategy to support the energy transition. We are therefore pleased to make competitive solutions available to LeasePlan customers together with our technologically advanced charging network, which currently has over 15.000 points and which will be expanded both in Italy and in Europe to around 30.000 points by 2026".

Alberto Viano, CEO of LeasePlan Italia said: “The long-term rental sector has played a great role in recent years by introducing vehicles with ever lower emissions onto the market. The new electric car technology is developing both among historical corporate customers and in the private segment who want to entrust the risk of technological obsolescence to a specialized operator. Thanks to the agreement with Plenitude, LeasePlan will be able to play an even greater role in the diffusion of electric mobility”.
