Plenitude publishes its 2023 budget and its new Sustainability Report and Impact Report

Plenitude today published its financial statements for the year 2023 together with the “Report of Sustainability and Impact Report”.

The 2023 financial year closed with an adjusted operating profit of €515 million and an adjusted net profit of €220 million, both up approximately 50% compared to 2022.

The results obtained were driven by the good performance of the retail sector and the increase in installed renewable capacity and related production, confirming the value generated by the Company's integrated business model, which in the coming years will also see an ever-increasing contribution from the mobility sector electric.

The Sustainability Report and Impact Report is accessible online on the company website https://corporate.eniplenitude.com/it/associazione-sostenibile/strategia attached to the budget document and recounts the results achieved and the transformation path undertaken by Plenitude to increasingly become an enabler of the energy transition, with the goal of zeroing Scope 1, 2 and 3 net emissions by 2040.

Stefano Goberti, CEO of Plenitude, declared: “In 2023, Plenitude achieved exceptional operational and financial growth, achieving a pro-forma EBITDA of €0,9 billion, three times that of 2018. We expect to target an EBITDA of €1 billion in 2024 and double this to €2 billion in 2027. Furthermore, as a Company Benefit, we've been around for a while committed to integrating sustainability principles within our business model, and we confirm our desire to have a positive impact on the entire value chain, on territories and communities in which we operate. We do this with concrete actions, which again this year we have decided to outline in our Sustainability Report and Impact Report".
