State Police, 4 anarchists arrested in Turin for possession and carrying weapons and explosive materials

During one of these services, yesterday DIGOS staff checked people from the Veneto near the Rondissone 4 exit. During the check, the agents found different materials in the car on which the 4 are traveling: 7 paper bombs; 3 gas masks equipped with a filter; 5 smoke bombs, 1 knife; gloves; balaclava; eye drops and riopan (used to relieve the effects of tear gas). The 4 people, SM class 1995; MS class 1991; CF class 1990; CM class 1990, were arrested for holding and carrying weapons or explosive material.

Also as part of these checks, Polfer staff yesterday morning checked, near Novi Ligure, on a train bound for Turin, an Italian citizen of 39 years. In the baggage of the man, a member of a social center in the Cremona area, the policemen found: a multi-purpose pliers with an 5 centimeter blade attached; an iron knuckles; two black helmets, a gas mask with filter; two knee pads; a balaclava and other clothing all in black. The 39-year-old was referred to the Judicial Authority for violating the weapons regulations.

With regard to those arrested and the person under investigation, the provision of the “via sheet” from the Piedmontese capital was adopted by the Turin Police Chief.
