The Reggio Calabria State Police captured the fugitive Antonino Pesce at dawn today, in Rosarno, in the heart of the Piana di Gioia Tauro.
As a result of investigations coordinated by the DDA of Reggio Calabria, the policemen of the mobile team together with the colleagues of the Central Operational Service of the State Police, have captured the fugitive Pesce Antonino born in 1992, belonging to the homonymous powerful clan of the Calabrian 'Ndrangheta, wanted by one year for mafia association.
The fugitive was located by policemen in an apartment in the town of Rosarno. He had escaped capture as part of the Recherche operation in the spring of last year, with which several members of the Pesce clan were arrested by the State Police, on the orders of the DDA of Reggio Calabria.
Pesce Antonino managed, with mafia methodology, together with other prominent exponents of the Pesce clan, the road transport of citrus products from the Gioia Tauro plain to other regions of Italy.
