The State Police of Venice has identified and stopped, at 2 hours from the denunciation, 3 young Nigerians responsible for a robbery to the detriment of a 43enne Venetian, deaf, consumed in the railway underpass of Via Dante in Mestre.
Around 12.00 yesterday, 2 Nigerian boys joined the woman by taking her cell phone and fleeing. The supplications of the woman who asked the two to return the phone to her, the only source of communication, given her deafness.
The 2 subjects, after having tugged her up to make her fall, tearing her bag, and after having hit her with kicks and punches, they went away towards a third accomplice.
The men of the Railway Police after having recovered the images of the video cameras of the video surveillance circuit of the underpass, from which it was possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the crime, have sent them to all the patrols. The 3 subjects, described in detail by the woman, were clearly visible and easily recognizable for clothing and hair.
The first of the three was identified by the steering wheels in via Piave at via Cavallotti, wearing a black jacket with white sleeves, perfectly matching that of the widespread frame.
The other two were identified soon after by a police officer in service of patrolling with the armed forces between Viale Stazione and Via Dante, who immediately alerted the colleagues of the Railway that have reached one of the two robbers at street level Cappuccina corner via Rampa Cavalcavia and the other thug trying to escape, between via Piave and via Felisati.
The three were identified and subjected to judicial police detention for aggravated robbery in competition and translated at the local district house of Santa Maria Maggiore, available to the judicial authorities.
