Post Stories. Aidr: an interactive exhibition to tell the story of Italians with a look to the future

An interactive space in the heart of Rome set up at the Post Office in Piazza San Silvestro. Poste Italiane tells its story, with an exhibition that celebrates the company's 160-year history and that explores the uses, customs and changes of our country. "It is - writes in an Aidr note - an interactive path capable of combining innovation and tradition, in which the strong bond of the company at the service of our country since its inception emerges".

In fact, the exhibition retraces the evolution of Poste Italiane through original documents, objects and multimedia contents. There are three themed exhibition areas. In the first, "The numbers", the visitor enters an enveloping environment in which memorable numbers and words about the company are projected. In the second room, "History and the present", on the history of Poste Italiane, the story unfolds among seven thematic itineraries: work tools, savings and payments, communication, technology, letters and parcels, architecture, transport. Finally, the last room, "Values", focuses on the values ​​of Poste Italiane and directs communication to a new level: visual art. “As the President Maria Bianca Farina underlined well during the inauguration of the exhibition – writes Aidr – the peculiarity of the company lies in the ability to look to the future to respond quickly to the changing needs of the country, a factor today more than never decisive in the light of digital technological developments. Our association, concludes in the note, the President Mauro Nicastri, will visit the exhibition on December 6th.
