The DMV registered - in the month of July 2020 - 136.455 cars, with a variation of -11,01% compared to July 2019, during which 153.335 cars were registered (in the month of June 2020, 132.635 cars were registered, with a variation of -23,03% compared to June 2019, during which 172.313 were registered).
In the same period of July 2020, 273.622 transfers of ownership of used cars were recorded, with a variation of -27,81% compared to July 2019, during which 379.028 were registered (in June 2020, 247.655 transfers were recorded instead owned by used cars, with a variation of -23,25% compared to June 2019, during which 322.692 were registered).
In July 2020, the global sales volume (410.077 cars) therefore affected 33,28% of new cars and 66,72% of used cars.
The registrations represent the results of the National Vehicle Archive at 31.07.2020, while the data relating to transfers of ownership refer to the certifications of the transfer of ownership issued by the Offices of the Civil Motorization in July 2020 and represent the results of the National Vehicle Archive on 31.07.2020.
In the period January-July 2020 the Motorization registered 720.620 cars in total, with a variation of -41,72% compared to the period January-July 2019, during which 1.236.520 were registered. In the same period of January-July 2020 there were 1.569.882 transfers of ownership of used cars, with a variation of -38,59% compared to January-July 2019, during which 2.556.245 were registered.
