Rome, garbage collectors feed the wild boars. Rays: "Unacceptable, I will take action"

Some ecological operators in Rome, reports Il Messaggero, were filmed while they spilled the food remains of some garbage bags on the sidewalk where in the immediate vicinity there were #boars. #Rome among seagulls, wild boars, mice, parrots and other types of animals, is becoming an open-air zoo.

Mayor Virginia #Raggi, called it "unacceptable", threatening measures for operators: "I asked Ama to check if they are employees of the company and possibly take action against them - he wrote on Facebook publishing the video - It cannot be considered a stunt to feed wild animals. Especially if they are irresponsible to do so who should instead ensure the cleanliness of the city. These are gestures that, if ascertained, offend the many Ama workers who, on the contrary, work with commitment on our streets every day ".

The presence of wild boars in the city is alarming citizens for the aggressiveness of these animals. In Spinacelo a citizen who was carrying his son in a stroller was attacked by a small wild boar. The fellow citizens therefore organized patrols to drive away the wild boars using acoustic signals.

Someone even armed himself by buying guns that shoot a stinging jet from 3 meters away. On the Cassia, last Sunday, a motorist driving an SUV hit one, seriously damaging the car, right in the same spot where two years ago the encounter with a wild boar had cost the life of the young Nazzareno Alessandri, overwhelmed while on a scooter .
