Book Fair, INPS recognizes his literary talents

The award ceremony of the fifth edition of the INPS National Literary Prize was held yesterday in the Sala Madrid of the Lingotto Congress Centre. The event, now recurring on the occasion of the Book Fair, is intended to recognize the creative and literary talents present among the Institute's employees.

This year, on the occasion of the celebrations for the Institute's 125th anniversary, a “special mention” was awarded to Andrea Ferraro, an INPS employee who recently passed away to whom the award was dedicated, in memory of the talent and personal and professional energy lavished with passion and humanity.

For the poetry category, the recognition was assigned to Benedetta Costanzo, of the Provincial Directorate of Pesaro with the text "My words in silence".

In the narrative category, three works were awarded: “The desert” by Antonio Alvaro of the Provincial Directorate of Catanzaro, “Summer wind” by Antonio Vernuccio of the Central Communications Department and “Like shooting stars” by Monica Aquino of the Provincial Directorate of Caserta.

Among the unpublished works, that of Massimo Colonna, Complex Agency of Ivrea, stands out, with "The queen of the waters".

Finally, three mentions for Fabio La Malfa (Roma Flaminio Metropolitan Branch) with "Simon's adventure“, Angela Grimaudo (Turin) for her “Go ahead, don't let yourself be stopped” and Antonella Grasso (DC Support to Bodies and Internal Audit) with “Above nothing".

The event was attended by the President Pasquale Tridico, the Deputy Mayor of the City of Turin Michela Favaro, the Central Director of Communication Diego De Felice, the Regional Director of Piedmont Filippo Bonanni.

Yesterday, the Institute dedicated space to thematic insights, taking care of a focus on "Social security culture, INPS digital tools available to citizens“, representing the efforts made to guarantee immediate and simplified social security information to the community.

By renewing its participation in the Book Fair, INPS not only guarantees a stand for the information needs of every citizen, but creates a channel of dialogue with society, giving value to knowledge of the social security world and insights relating to Welfare.
