The President of the Republic Mattarella meets the Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini. A meeting requested several times by the leader of the League which had as its object the denunciation of a judicial plot "to outlaw the League" through the preventive seizure of all the party accounts ordered by a sentence of the Supreme Court. The Quirinale makes it known that the meeting will take place with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and for nothing else

The affair was resolved through a series of contacts held by the undersecretary at Palazzo Chigi Giancarlo Giorgetti who was able to dissolve the controversy and encourage the expected meeting. The councilors of the Quirinale explained how the president does not want to be involved in the controversy of robes especially and if he is accused of taking "political" measures.

So the Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini has adjusted to the institutional perimeter set by the Quirinale for the interview. He lets me understand his last message yesterday morning on Instagram: «Monday I will meet Mattarella. I will have the pleasure of explaining the many things done in my first month as a minister, to keep promises, defend the borders, protect the Italians and restore order, respect and tranquility in Italy.
