The political confrontation between Lega and 5Stelle continues
The Minister of the Interior, Matteo Salvini, who spoke in Potenza at a meeting for the presentation of the candidates of the League in the upcoming regional elections scheduled for the next 24 in March reiterated his intention to continue the TAV.
“Italians ask me, they deserve and expect growth and future. I want a country that goes forward, not that goes back. If I have spent money to dig a hole under a mountain, I prefer to spend more money to finish it, rather than to fill it again ”.
Salvini, referring to the environmental issue, then added “Obviously there is environmental protection but one thing does not exclude the other: we are not ultras, or industry or trees, Europe is full of practical and concrete demonstrations that clean industry can live with a healthy environment ”.
