Thursday 20 May the presentation of the volume 'Making a laboratory. Guide to experiential teaching ''

A manual dedicated to secondary school teachers who want to promote and develop a path of didactic innovation with experiments in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth Sciences.

The seminar for the presentation of the paper volume will be held tomorrow, Thursday 20 May, at 14.30 pm, but with digital additions entitled 'Making a laboratory. Guide to experiential teaching '. The meeting will be opened by the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, who will speak with a video message. The seminar can be fully followed in live streaming via the youtube channel of the Ministry of Education: https://youtu.be/sfJ_naD3ZLg.

The initiative will be held in the Maria Montessori Room, at the Ministry of Education. It is promoted as part of the national LSOSAlab project, launched to convey innovative teaching in the mathematical-scientific subjects of upper secondary school.

The experiments collected in the volume were conceived and carried out by secondary school teachers involved in the project. To validate them a committee composed of university professors from the Department of Sciences of Roma Tre together with teachers from secondary school. The drafting was handled by the Academy of Sciences of Turin, by experts from the Directorate General for School Regulations, Evaluation and Internationalization of the National Education System.

A volume will be sent free of charge to each school involved in the project and to 1.000 teachers who will request it through a form whose link will be made public at the end of the seminar.

The seminar is included among the initiatives of the Ministry of Education for the Open Administration Week (# SAA2021), from 17 to 21 May 2021.
