School, note sent to managers for the implementation of the last Dpcm: nothing changes from childhood to the first grade, for the second grade targeted interventions in critical situations

The Ministry of Education sent a note to school administrators today to accompany the implementation of the Prime Minister's Decree approved yesterday. The note was the subject of a preliminary discussion with the trade unions in the sector.

Nothing changes for kindergarten, primary school and lower secondary school. Second grade secondary schools, on the other hand, will be able to adopt, in the event of critical situations or particular risks communicated by health authorities or local authorities, additional forms of flexibility in their organization, increasing, for example, the use of Integrated Digital Education. Or by further modulating (with respect to what has already been established in September) the entry and exit times of pupils and pupils, also through the possible use of afternoon shifts. As part of this possible further modulation, schools will arrange for entry to take place no earlier than 9.00 am, as foreseen by yesterday's Dpcm.

No automatism, however: new interventions on the school organization will take place, as already mentioned, only in case of critical situations or of particular risk communicated by the health authorities or by the local authorities and through the direction of the regional and local tables with the school offices. Tables, the latter, provided for by the so-called "School Plan" issued last June and also approved by the Regions.
