A "Pact for Education and Training" to put the school at the center of the country, to make it the engine of development and social equality. This was proposed by the Minister of Education, Professor Patrizio Bianchi, who today met the trade unions both at the confederal and sector level.
"After the signing of the Pact for the innovation of public work and social cohesion, we must reflect not only on emergency measures, but also on a vision of change in our school", underlined Minister Patrizio Bianchi, opening the meeting. “We are faced with an obligation: to ensure that the school returns to being the center of the country, a dynamic center, a development engine for emerging from the pandemic, but also from stagnation. We are facing a constituent year, a year in which we must be able to make the most of our school ”.
The Pact will have a broad scope, looking at both topical issues, first of all, the orderly and efficient start of the next school year, but also at a school vision which, the Minister underlined, "must be built with everyone's help. On school we must mobilize the whole country ”.
